DEVOPS ENGINEER

NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a DevOps Engineer  in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:    

• Deploying and configuring microservices applications on AWS
• CI/CD process development and support
• Support and administration of infrastructures on AWS
• Active participation in automating processes, and implementing new systems
• Making sure the systems are available, well-optimized and well-maintained to meet clients’ expectations
• keeping contacts and coordinating with various departments

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Experience in administering Linux/UNIX and Windows systems (must be practical, at least two years)
• Experience with web servers and deployment of web applications
• Experience with AWS cloud systems
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL
• Practical CI/CD automation and organization skills (Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline)
• Knowledge of bash/shell
• Ansible automation experience is desirable
• Knowledge of Python is desirable
• Knowledge of English at the intermediate level is required
