IT INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT ENGINEER

NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th District). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and stability of the IT infrastructure
• Support end users locally and remotely
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain and update documentation related to IT infrastructure, including system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user manuals
• Work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with vendors and other third-party providers to obtain necessary hardware and software components

What we expect from you:

• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking protocols
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• At least intermediate level of English; Ukrainian would be an advantage
