MEDIOR GENERAL QA ENGINEER

NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Medior General QA Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing
• Automating test scenarios and maintaining the scripts, analyzing execution results
• Defining the optimal balance between manual and automated testing
• Participation in scrum ceremonies
• Defining QA plan for a sprint together with off-shore and on-shore QA leads
• Escalating issues up to QA management
• Helping more junior team-mates with onboarding, and review their work

What we expect from you:

• Knowledge of any programming language (Java / Python / JS / C# / Groovy)
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver (core library of any WebDriver-based framework)
• Strong knowledge of testing processes, techniques
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience in REST API testing
• Time management and task-prioritization skills
• Analytical and algorithmic thinking, the desire for self-development
• Persistence in finding solutions and motivation to reach goals
• Ability to clearly express your thoughts and defend your point of view
• Experience in working with English-speaking customers
• Level of English – Intermediate or higher
