Value Management – Project Manager

ZF Hungária Kft. is searching for experienced colleague for the following position: Value Management – Project Manager

Your Tasks:
• Manage dedicated “Product Cost Roadmap” for assigned series products in the Product Segment “Transmission Systems”
• Lead and manage a cross-functional team to execute “Post SOP VAVE Projects” in line with the Operational Planning
• Manage project budget, team resources and set up financials of the project to ensure to stay within the business case targets
• Develop a three year “VAVE Pipeline” of cost saving opportunities to ensure the fulfillment of the defined VAVE targets
• Validate ideas and transform them into mature projects with positive business case, technical feasibility, confirmed resources and realistic time plan
• Lead, organize and moderate internal & external workshops to review VAVE ideas such as resourcing, DtC or other improvement opportunities
• Drive “Risk Management” to anticipate risks and manage proper mitigation and escalation activities

Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration with multiple years of experience in the automotive industry – preferably with prior experience in purchasing
• Project Management Expertise (Project Planning, Controlling & Monitoring, Risk Management)
• Independent and result-oriented working style as well as high level of analytical ability to deal with unusual and complex issues
• Motivational skills to lead a cross-functional team without direct reporting lines
• Technical expertise and cost awareness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
• Proficient English and advanced German skills (written and verbal) and willingness to travel
